Dr. Claire?

Claire was a doctor for Halloween. Our friend Angie gave us Baby Scrubs when she was born. She seems pretty comfortable in them.

Growing up

Alley regressed a little and was playing with Claire in the baby gym.

But Claire smiles more and more everyday and seems to be growing out of the newborn stage. She is cooing too. She even has rolled over a few times from her stomach to her back.

She starts daycare next week - so I hope with these new milestones she can be a little more independant and be OK away from her Mom.

Busy Weekend

We had a very fun and busy weekend. All of Claire's grandparents and Aunt Liz, Uncle Dan, and her cousins Megan and Breanna came to visit. Liz, Dan and her cousins babysat Claire and Alley on Saturday as the rest of us went to the NDSU vs. U of M game. (Let's hope Claire doesn't become a Gopher, as she will just be dissapointed time and time again by their football team).

Claire loved being held by everyone and offered up a lot of smiles. She seemed to become quick friends with Madison (her second cousin??) and I have a feeling that Alley, Claire, and Madison will be close and gang up on Mason someday.

Claire's Baptism

Claire was Baptised on Sunday October 21st. She wore the same beautiful dress that Alley was baptised in last year. Her Aunt Liz made it and surprisingly it fit Alley when she was 7 months old and Claire when she is 2 months old. Liz and Dan are also her godparents.

She did well at the baptism, didn't cry at all. I love the smell of the crism (spelling?) that she was annointed with.

2 months old

Claire turned 2 months old on Wednesday. She got her first shots and weighed in at 10 lbs 13oz at the doctor's office. She is finally smiling regularly too! It makes the late nights so much more tolerable when you are rewarded with a smile.

WASHING MACHINE WARNING

We Learned an expensive lesson this week about where all the missing socks go. They go down drain never to be found again. Unless of course they get stuck in the washing machine pump and you have to have a repair man out to fix it. So now we wash all of our little socks in a delicates bag. And who knows maybe they will all be there when the wash is done.
