"Dancing"

Alley really likes to dance and she was holding Claire's hand in an attempt to get her to dance also.

Moments of peace

As you can tell we are still needing the pacifiers to sooth her and we are still trying various things to get her to sleep. We are hoping the new sideways swing will be the trick. She does love to snuggle and be held, but will often wake up as soon as you put her down.

Pacifier

We have found out that pacifiers are good things. Claire really has a set of lungs on her and can be really hard to sooth. We are hoping this is just the normal 6 week old fussiness and that it should soon pass.

Or maybe she is crying because she is 6 weeks old and has acne. She is obviously worried about her overall appearance judging by what her shirt says.

One month old

One month old by her birthdate - but would only be a few days old if she came on her due date.

This is a rare moment of Claire sleeping well - of course on her stomach though. She really is keeping her mom up at night.

I just want to be held

Claire still is a pretty good baby - but she really wants to be held lately. This makes going to sleep at night a little difficult. Alley has been asking to hold Claire - of course she wants to all on her own. I haven't let her of course - but I thought I might let her for the 1 AM session.

GROMMESH GRANDPARENTS

Grandma and Grandpa Grommesh came and visited for the long weekend. They spent a lot of time with their two youngest granddaughters. Grandpa Charlie got to meet Claire for the very first time.

CLAIRE IN THE MONKEY CHAIR

After big sister Alley goes to bed at night Claire has been sneaking a few winks in the Monkey Chair. This is one of Alley's prized possessions and she would be very mad if she ever caught this going on.
