What tragedy could cause these girls to look so sad? Having to go home after playing together.

Fun at the Twins game

The girls were great at a night game hosted by Rob's work. And the Twins won!

Start of her school career

Claire has Ms Kollodge - just like Alley did. At her table sits 2 other kids who have big sisters in 1 st grade and who were in Alley's kindergarten class last year.

She so far thought the best part was snack time with Cheeze-It crackers and music class.

On her way to kindergarten

Claire had been saying she was nervous for days- she did cry when we dropped her off in her classroom. She also told she cried at lunch - saying there was just so many people. But - when we picked her after her first day - she said "Kindergarten Rocks!". She was playing with Alley on the playground at the time- so that may have done it.

Claire looks excited now - but earlier that morning she had a "really bad cough"- then weakly coughed to show me how sick she was.

Showered with gifts

Claire of course got lots of fun presents from her friends.  All sorts of My Little Ponies - big and small. Rob and Grandpa Alley got Claire an aquarium and 2 goldfish - Sparkle and Goldy.  They swim around a pink castle - very similar to the super jump at her party.

Grandma Helen made sleeping bags for Alley and Claire's American Girl dolls and Grandma Erlys made sleeping bags for their barbie dolls.  Claire got her own American Girl Doll (or next best from Target) - from Beth.

She got a Puppy Wash Barbie Doll from Grandma Erlys as well and monopoly from Grandma Helen and Grandpa Charlie.  Pink Legos from Uncle Gregg, Little Pet Shop characters from Amerlia and AJ and horse puzzle and kitty art project from Mason and Madison.

Tough Pinata

Claire often says she is either going to marry Griffin

 or Nick Ross - unfortunately neither of them are as strong as her Dad - who finally was able to break open the pinata.

Alley and Claire along with mom and dad made the homemade pinata and painted it. 

Finally the loot  - the kids softened up the pinata I am sure before Rob finally broke it open.

Claire's 5th Birthday

Claire had fun with Mason, Madison (pictured below), AJ and Amerlia and

 all her Kindercare friends.

Sarah and Avery from Kindercare - also off to Kindergarten

Claire hosted a superjump party - decorated with prinesses.  It had a jump area and slide.
