Trains!

Claire also pointed out every train she saw. She still talks about the train park we went to in Scottsdale, AZ while visiting grandpa. There is a mini train that the kids (and adults can ride) - with grain cars, cattle cars, and engine and of course a caboose. Claire still talks about the tunnel we went through, where is was drak and all the kids screamed.

Cactus!

Saguaro cactus dwarfs little Claire and Alley.

Mickey Mouse! Claire points out this prickley pear cactus looks like Mickey Mouse. You would have thought we were at Disneyland - she talked about Mickey Mouse all the time - she even got Mickey Mouse pancakes one morning at a restaurant near Grandpa Alley's place

Ducks!

Claire and Alley really likes feeding the ducks, geese, coots, pigeons, etc in Scottsdale, AZ when we went to visit Grandpa Alley - Uncle Gregg joined us to celebrate his birthday.

When ever we were out driving somewhere - Claire pointed out Ducks very excitedly if she saw any - along with CACTUS! and AIRPLANE! is she saw them, which was quie a few.

Fountain Hills, AZ - you can see why it is named that :)

Christmas Eve 2009

The first of several Christmas celebrations this year - as the weather prevented us from going to Fargo on Christmas - we opened our presents Christmas eve and shipped presents from Uncle Gregg and Grandpa Alley.

Claire was excited about the Little Pony and video that Grandpa got her and the Reindeer pez dispenser from her Uncle - of course anything with candy is a hit with Claire.
