The next band member of KISS

Claire has taken on the crazy habit of constantly sticking out her tongue like she is practicing to be a member of the band KISS. In addition she adds the nice touch of some drool.

I assume she is like a lot of people who stick out their tongue when they are concentrating - but she walks around the house like that. I think it is her way of replacing the pacifier - she decided to not suck her thumb like other kids - but stick out her tongue. She is truly special.

She had her 18month check up last week and confirmed what we already knew - she is tall and has a big head. Since Alley and her had their check ups together - the pediatrician talked about how he foresees trouble in the future- as the little sister will end up being much taller than the big sister. He predicts she may be 5'7" or 5'8"! She obviously takes after Rob.

She seems to be developing just fine - speaking a few more words. The pediatrician talked about how it is normal that the second child is less verbal. She also shows the fearlessness of a second child and we certainly need to keep an eye on her.

Her older sister is the star in her eyes - and copies her every move still.
